Our first breakfast session of the year Explored Mission, Values, and Business Planning 
On 25th January 2024, at Aura Innovation Centre in Hessle, over 40 delegates from 30 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) engaged in an insightful breakfast organised by Humber HR People. The focus of this breakfast was a thought-provoking first session dedicated to delving into mission, values, and strategic business planning. 
 
Hosted by Humber HR People the event kicked off with a stimulating exploration of the fundamental aspects that shape the ethos of SMEs. This included mission statements, core values, and business plans: we started by underpinning why these are so important within successful organisations. Clear strategy is the foundation of great relationships with employees and positive company culture.  
 
The event included an exchange of ideas during this opening session across diverse sectors. The emphasis was on sparking thoughtful dialogue and encouraging attendees to challenge conventional thinking in navigating the challenges their organisations are facing in 2024. We also heard from two client partners about their experience of working with Humber HR People to navigate change, restructure, and rethinking communication across their teams, and the quick wins of better teamwork and a greater level of confidence in decision making.
