Case Study – Key Appointment for Peter Ward Homes  

The Challenge 
Finding someone to cover a maternity leave within the customer care department but also helping us with our succession planning. 
What We Did 
Humber HR suggested we look at a graduate appointment and provided us with suitable Graduate Apprentice programmes for us to consider. 
The Result 
We opted for an Operations Management programme which would provide valuable skills which the candidate could utilise in a variety of departments within the business. Once the maternity cover assignment is finished, our new trainee will move to other departments to gain a wider understanding of our company and our market sector. 
Working with Humber HR has been very different from our normal relationships with recruitment agents – in a really good way and we will definitely be working with them in the future.
